In need of a good cry? Got a lot of pent-up emotions? Youre in luck! When Did You Last See Your Father? is playing all this week at the Lake Worth Playhouse (713 Lake Ave., Lake Worth). The film is an adaptation of an autobiographical novel of the same name, and it stars celebrated British actors Jim Broadbent and Colin Firth. The two portray a father and son with a complicated relationship one thats muddles even further by the fathers imminent demise and a heart-breaking string of communication breakdowns. Youll follow Firths character from his awkward childhood into adulthood, when he is forced to evaluate his memories in a new light. Anand Tucker directs this one-way ticket to Kleenexville, so prepare your tears for jerking. Tickets range from six to eight bucks. Call 561-586-6410, or visit lakeworthplayhouse.org.
