Great Way To Go Green

Not only is it hump day, but did you know that today also marks the halfway point to St. Patrick’s Day? Put the two occasions together and you’ve found the perfect excuse to get sloshed and lay on the blarney. But wait — there’s more: Head to Dicey Riley’s (217 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale) tonight between 6 and 8:30 p.m. to help Young Professionals for Covenant House raise money to benefit homeless, runaway, and at-risk kids. A $15 to $30 admission charge includes two drink tickets (beer, wine, or well) and appetizers. Covenant House’s board and its executive director will be there, too, accepting a whopping $45,000 check as part of an annual presentation.
