According to its slogan, Georgies Alibi (2266 Wilton Dr., Wilton Manors) is always the right time at the right place, but few probably cash that in at 10 a.m. On Saturday, however, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. is the right time to be there for some canine camaraderie and pooch pampering. A dog wash is planned in the parking lot B.Y.O.S. & B. (bring your own scarves and bows). Proceeds support The Pet Project, a volunteer organization that helps those living with HIV/AIDS and other debilitating conditions keep their furry friends close when they need them most. The Pet Project raises funds to help cover the sometimes prohibitive costs of pet ownership, including vaccinations and a monthly pet food bank. Help support those in need by bringing out your dirty dog; at only 15 bucks a pup, its a doggone good deal. Visit www.petprojectforpets.org, or call Georgies Alibi at 954-565-2526.
