Democracy? In America? Not so, they say.

Honestly: Would we Americans actually notice if our votes ceased to matter? According to director Dorothy Fadiman, this isnt even a hypothetical they dont, and we didnt. Stealing America: Vote by Vote is a new agitprop documentary detailing the ways the powers that be have driven certain minorities from the polls, rigged our machines, and generally wrenched Americas elections from the hands of her people. The advance press on Stealing America says its addressed to Republicans and Democrats equally that this wretched situation is the fault of no particular party, and that all Americans are equally responsible for fixing the situation. To this, we offer a tentative retort: Horseshit! But wait. Lets see the movie first. Stealing America plays Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Cinema Paradiso (503 SE 6th St., Fort Lauderdale). Tickets cost $9.
