Psst: It Means “Tropical Chicken”

We’ve got it good in South Florida. We can pluck mangoes straight from the trees, we can throw ourselves in the ocean should an especially gnarly hang-over take hold, and we can drive-through for Cuban wraps and chicken with yellow rice at Pollo Tropical.

Yep. Life’s pretty sweet.

It only gets better when Pollo Tropical adds a new location, because that means we get another alternative to the partially-hydrated-burger-chain competitors AND a bike rodeo! The Everglades Bicycle Club and the Broward Wheelers will be onsite when PT opens its newest location at 8096 W. McNab Road in North Fort Lauderdale. From noon to four p.m., you’ll get demonstrations, bike safety lessons, and carnival games! But that’s not all. Those who attend also get a shot at a free bicycle and helmet. Wow, SoFla! Now if we could just dodge the rest of those hurricanes out there, we’d be just about perfect. Visit www.pollotropical.com.
